About our community

Founded in Fall 2013, Evanston's Bayit brings together a diverse community of Jewish kids and families through a welcoming, convenient, fun and camp-like afterschool "home."

INDEPENDENT,
NON-DENOMINATIONAL, Interfaith
Bayit immerses children ages 4-10 in exploration of Jewish identity while simultaneously offering needed, high-quality afterschool childcare for busy families.

In our structured yet free-choice learning environment, children bond through play while exploring the arts, spirituality and Hebrew.
  • Located at the UCE in Evanston
  • Meet Monday through Friday
